What is a Center of Excellence?
A Flourishing in Medicine Center of Excellence is a healthcare organization dedicated to supporting physician well-being through Mindful Practice in Medicine (MPIM) programs. These organizations have shown commitment in providing MPIM training for clinicians, faculty, and trainees at various levels.
As a Center of Excellence, they receive exclusive resources, including teaching materials and support from MPIM leadership, to help grow and sustain their programs.

Eligibility Criteria
Led by Certified Local Leaders
Local leadership by one or more local individuals who have completed the MPIM Flourishing in Medicine Facilitator Training Workshop.
Workshops Offerings
Offering multi-day “core” workshops and shorter programs to address the needs of students, residents, faculty and/or community-based clinicians.
Expanding and Adapting Program Needs
Commitment to expanding the scope and reach of MPIM programs, and adapting programs to local needs.
MPIM Faculty Collaboration
Commitment to working together with other MPIM faculty to share teaching materials and insights as appropriate.
Program Evaluations
Commitment to evaluation of the educational programs that they direct.
